GRACIE

Sweet Gracie will always be dear to me as my very first commission. Today, her vibrant spirit brightens a home in Victoria BC

I painted Millie as a heartfelt memorial for a client’s daughter, who was grieving her beautiful German Shepherd. This tribute now holds a place of honor in their home in beautiful Northern BC.

BELLA

BELLA is the matriarch in the home, and her portrait captures that spirit. To keep her paired with Edward, I included her philodendron in the background of both

Capturing the spirit of these two young doodles, I painted Dave & Joey enjoying a windy day at the beach.

These boys are now the centerpiece of the home, hanging proudly among cherished family photographs. It is the first sight that greets every friend and visitor at the door, serving as a warm welcome and a lasting tribute to their wonderful, playful bond.

BLUEY

This client wanted a subtle background in a colour to complement her blue/grey couch.

It was perfect with the turquoise splashes and outlines!

Harley is a beautiful senior with the same sweet face she had as a Kitten.

She was painted for someone special to me and was a true work of love.

Common Questions

What is the typical pricing for a custom commission?

Pricing is based on dimension and complexity.
Small simple pieces (12 x 12 - 16 x 20) typically range from $150 - $300, while pieces with more than one pet start at $250.   I provide a detailed quote after our initial consultation.

Just a heads-up that our 2025/2026 pricing will be changing soon! To keep up with rising costs, we will be introducing a small price increase on February 1, 2027. If you want to beat the bump, place your commission order by December 31, 2026, and we will happily honor our current rates.

How long does the commission process take?

A typical commission takes between 2 to 3 weeks  from the day I begin the process.  This includes consultation with the client, creation of initial studies and finally, painting and sealing.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, shipping is limited to North America.  Artworks are shipped flat, packed by the shipper.  Shipping fees are not included in the commission price.

Can I request specific color palettes?

Absolutely. Part of my process involves reviewing your vision and preferred tones. I work primarily with a natural base infused with unexpected bright colours to maintain the signature style of Jenny Daly Art.

Is a deposit required to start?

Yes, a 25% non-refundable deposit is required to begin the design process. The remaining balance is due upon completion.
